BECOME A PROGRAM MANAGER
TURN A COMMUNITY IDEA
INTO MEASURABLE IMPACT.
Lead a charitable program from idea to implementation—building partnerships, securing funding, coordinating delivery, and creating measurable community impact through the Tiny Lanterns platform.
HOW THE TINY LANTERNS MODEL WORKS
Tiny Lanterns Community Foundation provides the charitable platform through which qualified Program Managers can develop and lead community-focused charitable programs.
Tiny Lanterns provides the governance, financial oversight, administration, charitable accountability, and organizational structure required to operate the program responsibly.
The Program Manager develops the program itself—identifying a community need, preparing the program concept and budget, developing partnerships, approaching potential funders, attracting participants, coordinating professionals and speakers, and managing implementation.
Tiny Lanterns works with the Program Manager throughout this process to ensure that the proposed program remains consistent with the Foundation's charitable purposes and standards.
Programs move into implementation when they have been approved and sufficient funding has been secured.
Funding received for the program is administered through Tiny Lanterns and used according to the approved program budget, including eligible program expenses, administration, professional services, and the Program Manager's approved consulting compensation.
The result is a model that allows a strong community idea to become a professionally managed charitable program with measurable impact.
THE PROGRAM MANAGER JOURNEY
IDEA → DEVELOPMENT → FUNDING → APPROVAL → DELIVERY → IMPACT
A community idea begins with an identified need. The Program Manager develops the concept, builds partnerships and pursues funding with the support and oversight of Tiny Lanterns.
Once the program is approved and sufficiently funded, it moves into implementation, delivery and measurable community impact.
A PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITY
Program Managers work with Tiny Lanterns under a consulting arrangement. Approved professional compensation is included within the funded program budget.
This allows qualified individuals to transform community ideas into professionally managed charitable programs while being compensated for the work required to develop and deliver them.
